Reddit scan:I am a partner at a new incubator/co-working space that just took over a 5 story building. We have a few legacy tenants that will be phased out over the years as their leases expire, but the majority of the building will be dedicated to the incubator and co-working space. We currently have a fiber line running to the building, datacenter in the basement open to any of our residents, a state of the art broadcasting studio, and event space. Our plans are to also add a makerspace in the next few weeks before opening the doors officially near the start of summer. What else can I do to make this space unique, state of the art, interactive, and fun? I've read TNW and Monterail's implementations of smart office techniques and gained a lot of inspiration, but what else is out there? Blue sky thinking. Could we control access to the building or certain workshops and areas via device? What about placing requests for office supplies and food? Room bookings? What other cool shit am I not thinking of? http://ift.tt/2pBxV6S by Towson Makerspace
