Reddit scan:We've got a single insert shear hog for the Tormach at my university's makerspace, and it comes with ADEH inserts for aluminum. Would other similar inserts built for steel (such as these, specifically the ADET inserts toward the middle of the page) work in the shear hog, and would that be advisable?On a separate but related note, I've heard that titanium responds to milling more similarly to aluminum than steel, so would the existing shear hog inserts work on titanium (obviously with a less aggressive cut)? http://ift.tt/2oWWoRA by Towson Makerspace
