Reddit scan:I've been a member at my local techshop for a few years and have noticed an uptick in the number of homeschool kids that have been hanging out and making amazing things. I'm guessing the same is probably happening at other Makerspaces across the country.Do any of you have your kids with makerspace memberships? Is it worth the money? For families where the budget is tight I've seen the older kids do internships at the TechShop. For those of you in the SF bay area there is a free Homeschool info tour coming up. I have no idea about the content since I've seen it, but it dovetails nicely with the Summer camps they offer. I know several of the instructors and front desk folks have homeschooled their own kids.http://ift.tt/2pZfs19 http://ift.tt/2rk9MCS by Towson Makerspace
